Beginning Fall Semester Traffic

Hello Buckeye Families;

Gilmer ISD will begin classes for the fall semester beginning on Monday, August 10, on all Gilmer ISD campuses.  As classes begin for the fall semester, school transportation and school zones will be in effect as well.  Please be aware of school buses as they stop to load and unload students.  School zones will be in effect between 7:15-8:00 a.m. in the mornings on highway 271 north by the elementary/intermediate campuses and 271 south by the junior high school.  School zones in the afternoon will run between 3:20-3:50 p.m. at the elementary/intermediate campuses and 3:50-4:20 p.m. by the junior high school.  A school zone is in effect from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. around the Gilmer Early Childhood Center.
