Storybook Characters - In preparation for our Dr. Seuss night and to promote reading and math fun, during the school day on Thursday, March 5th, students are invited to join in the fun by dressing up as their favorite storybook character. Students may come dressed up to our Dr. Seuss night, too!
Dr. Seuss Night
Thursday, March 5th from 5:30pm-7:00pm
Come and spend the evening with your GECC teachers and visit various stations to play academic games and to learn fun ways you can engage your child in learning at home. Be sure to take a moment to look around the building. Students have worked very hard to complete Dr. Seuss projects that are displayed outside the classrooms. Also, there are Tootles near the cafeteria and don’t forget to check out our Wall of Heroes featuring the Students of the Month. Once you are finished, be sure to stop in the cafeteria for free nachos and lemonade. Afterwards, visit the bake sale table for a sweet treat! At this time, the bake sale will only be accepting cash.Thursday, March 5th from 5:30pm-7:00pm
