GES Families,

We would like to share an important update to our car rider procedures that also carries special meaning for our school community.

Moving forward, the area previously referred to as “Past Pole A” in the car rider line will now be called “Walker’s Lane.” This change is in honor of Walker Lane Meek Lovell, one of our students who passed away earlier this year.

Walker was a cherished member of the GES family, and this designation serves as a lasting way to remember the joy, light, and love he brought to our campus. 

There is no change to the flow or expectations of car rider dismissal—only the name of the stopping point if your child is not at their assigned pole.
