Cell Phone Policy
Attached is the finalized cell phone policy. This law was passed by the 89th legislature as HB 1481 and requires public schools to prohibit the use of personal communication devices during the school day on school property. Communication devices includes phones, smart watches, iPads, personal computers, etc. This policy is adopted to implement this requirement and improve the quality of the learning environment in our schools.
Please review the policy prior to the first day of school. Principals will be reviewing this with students Wednesday, August 13th through Friday, August 15th.
Pouches mentioned in the policy will be provided by the school to High School students.
