New Student Online Enrollment

(for new to GISD students or former students that have not been enrolled in over a year)

New Student Online Enrollment (NSOE) offers the convenience of getting most of the enrollment steps done ahead of time to save you valuable time.  Once you click on the link, you will be asked to supply your name, phone number, and email.  Once submitted, you will receive an email for  NSOE to start the process.  The paperwork that normally takes so much time, is right at your fingertips, and is quicker than writing everything out in pen (all 20 pages).  This should give the school more accurate data and the parent more peace of mind.  

*******Be sure to pick the correct year for registration.      If  you are registering for the upcoming school year starting in August, please choose 2024-2025 school year.********

If you are registering for the current school year please choose the 2023 – 2024 school year.

There are required documents that may be uploaded to the system and those are as follows:

• Student’s Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Parent’s Drivers License
• Proof of Residency ( in the form of a utility bill, lease agreement, official documentation)
• **Proof on Income (for PRE-K student registration only) (2 current paystubs)
• **Income Tax Return (for Headstart student registration only) (most current tax return)
• **SNAP, TANF, or SSI Benefit Documentation and/or Card with EDG #

No Application will be processed without the required documentation.  If you have trouble uploading the docments, please email the documents to gilmer.peims@gilmerisd.org.  Please be sure to include the student’s name and grade level in the email. 

There are also documents that are not required but extremely helpful in providing more information regarding your student’s placement and they are as follows:

• Copy of Student’s Social Security Card (or something with the number on it)
• Last Report Card
• Transcript (if applicable)
• Special Programs Paperwork
• Custody or Legal Paperwork
• Withdrawal Paperwork from last school district

Once you have completed the online enrollment, you will receive an email from the district asking when you can come to the school and get a schedule and get started with Gilmer ISD.
